A transaction file is the spine of everything YayTrack does, timelines, documents, compliance, and client updates all hang off it. This guide gets your first file created and your team in the room in under ten minutes.

Create the file

From the dashboard, choose New transaction and pick the side you represent, listing, buyer, or dual. Enter the property address, the executed-contract date, and the contract price. The moment you save, YayTrack provisions the document vault, the activity log, and an empty timeline ready to be populated from the contract dates.

Import your contacts

Open Contacts and choose Import to connect a supported CRM or upload a CSV. Map your columns on the preview step and duplicate detection merges anyone who already exists rather than creating a second record. Once imported, you can attach a buyer, seller, lender, and title contact to the file in a couple of clicks.

Invite your team

From the transaction header, open Sharing to add coordinators and agents by email. Each teammate sees the file on their own board with the tasks assigned to them. You can scope a client portal separately so buyers and sellers only ever see the milestones you choose to expose.
